A note on construction:
The River Path Shawl is worked side to side on the bias. Differing rates of decrease along the top edge and the right side of the shawl create a triangle shape. Due to the differing rates of decrease, it may be helpful to have multiple row counters or another method of keeping track of the decreases.

28 sts and 36 rows in 4 inches square, knit flat in stockinette and blocked

🌈 US 4 / 3mm; 40in knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge in the length that is most comfortable
